For centuries, people in Japan have bathed in onsen, the hot springs that rise through the country’s volcanic rock. On its way up the water gathers minerals, and that is what gives a hot-spring soak its soft, unmistakable feel.
ANESPA DX was designed after the Futamata hot springs in Japan. Rather than asking you to travel to the mountains, it brings a little of that water to your own shower and bath, every day.
How the water changes on its way to you
Three things happen inside one compact stainless steel unit, in this order, every time you turn on the water.
Chlorine is filtered out
Tap water first passes through a filter that takes out chlorine, and the smell that comes with it in a warm shower.
It flows over mineral stones
Inside the unit, the water runs over mineral stones taken from hot springs in Japan, the same idea as an onsen pool.
Then it reaches you
The water comes out of the shower head or the bath spout, filtered and mineralized, ready for an everyday soak. Nothing else is added.

ANESPA DX connects to common shower and bathtub faucets, with no renovation. It comes with its own four-setting shower head, and a switch on top sends the water to the shower head or to the bath spout.

Good Bye to very dry skin !!!!
I have had my Anespa since December and great things have been happening since ! I had terrible dry skin - the kind that you leave small parts of yourself all over. I tried almost all of the expensive creams, lotions and potions.... all to no avail. Alas, I was doomed to be scattered across the globe, little piece by little piece. After 2 weeks or so I noticed a difference in my skin texture, softer, less rough and definitely less scaley/flakey!! I also noticed that my hair was softer, easier to comb out, almost no tangles, shinier and no more itchy scalp - Who could ask for more ? I could and did !! I have 2 older Yorkies, who had bad dry skin and did a lot of scratching. I gave them a bath about every 10 days with the Anespa. Now, the dry skin is almost gone and the itching is rare !! Wish I would have known about this wonderful machine years and years ago !! Maybe it would have erased some of my 70+ years and I 'd look middle aged instead of a very, very old senior citizen !!
